The affordable housing lottery has launched for 80-97 Cypress Avenue, a five-story residential building in Ridgewood, Queens. Designed by Monica Lopez Architect and developed by PSCH Cypress Avenue HDFC, the structure yields 66 residences and 13 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 26 units for residents at 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $34,218 to $77,340.
Amenities include a shared laundry room, community center, recreation room, security guard, elevator, and green space. Tenants pay electricity and gas stove.
At 60 percent of the AMI, there are ten studios with a monthly rent of $900 for incomes ranging from $34,218 to $57,300; six one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,132 for incomes ranging from $42,583 to $64,440; and ten two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,350 for incomes ranging from $51,052 to $77,340.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than April 20, 2022.
