Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 650 Madison Street in Stuyvesant Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Malcolm X Boulevard and Stuyvesant Avenue, the lot is near the Gates Avenue subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains. Solomon Schwimmer of Twin Group Associates Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 26,010 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 38 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 684 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, 41-foot-long rear yard, 15 open parking spaces, and five enclosed parking spaces.
Leandro Nils Dickson Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
