The affordable housing lottery has launched for 63 Lewis Avenue, a five-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by Z Architecture, the structure yields 16 residences and a garage with eight self-parking spaces. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $75,429 to $156,130.

All units feature balconies, washer and dryers, dishwashers, hardwood floors, and name-brand appliances and finishes. Amenities include an elevator, a fully equipped gym, and pet-friendly policies. Tenant are responsible for electricity.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than September 27, 2022.

    Residents in anymore. I am in need of a two bedroom apt. I have a vision impairment am receiving social security, so I can only only pay what I receive from SSI
