Construction is complete on 2505 Broadway, a 19-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by ODA and developed by Adam America Real Estate, the 75,000-square-foot structure yields 41 condominiums in one- to four-bedroom layouts, many of which come with private outdoor terraces. Ariel Tirosh and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing are the exclusive sales and marketing agents for the property, which is located near the corner of Broadway and West 93rd Street.

Finishing touches have concluded since our last update in late May and the sidewalk scaffolding has been dismantled, revealing the completed look of the ground floor and main entrance with its and sleek canopy. In addition, one of the two nearby 96th Street subway staircases has been reopened, enabling easy access for residents to the 1, 2, and 3 trains.

Also added since our last visit are trees and landscaping on the upper roof terrace. Renderings depict this space with climbing vegetation along the walls of the mechanical bulkhead, which should take a few years to grow out.

Exterior renderings shown below closely match the finished product down to the façade details, color, and texture of the rounded brick edges and smooth surfaces.

The residential inventory includes two townhouse-style duplexes and a spacious four-bedroom penthouse featuring a private outdoor rooftop terrace with 360-degree views of the Hudson River, the George Washington Bridge, and the Upper West Side. Each floor houses one to two units. Amenities include a children’s playroom, a pet spa, a residents’ lounge, an outdoor terrace with kitchens and dining areas, and a private gym with an adjacent flexible space that can be converted from a sports court to a movie theater.

  1. That looks like expensive brick.

The curved metal railings complement the look of the rounded brick on the main eastern profile, and climbing vegetation along the walls should take a few years to grow out. I love these decorations on beautiful building, and flexible space that I like with it can be converted: Thanks to Michael Young.

A just about perfect infill building that complements its neighbors on both sides.

  5. Very nice finishes!

  6. That beautiful brick is everything!

  7. So the question is why don’t all developers build wonderful brick buildings like this?
The answer is because they are so greedy and unscrupulous that they would rather use cheap out of context glass with non union labor picked up off the streets so they can cut corners and build it on the cheap.

    • Profit has always been the motivation in real estate development. Don’t bfool yourself. Builders 100 years ago were able to construct what we consider beautiful buildings because high quality materials were cheaper or more readily available and there was a proponderance of skilled laborers available to build them.

  8. looks elegant. clean lines.

  9. Beautifully done, very understated and calm…
in comparison to the “mish-mash mess” from yesterday, which “tried” to incorporate an addition to a historic building!

  10. really nice project by ODA. Their work has been consistently excellent for a number of years.

Gene Kaufman would be jealous, if he actually had a clue what good architecture looks and feels like.

  11. So much nicer than the cantilever building.

  12. Very beautiful.
