Permits have been filed for a three-story residential building at 2-10 Beach 98th Street in Rockaway Beach, Queens. Located at the intersection of Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Beach 98th Street, the lot is near the Beach 98th Street-Playland subway station, serviced by the A and S trains. Nancy Lin is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 30-foot-tall development will yield 6,183 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 12 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 515 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 30-foot-long rear yard and five open parking spaces.
A&T Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
