Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 64 West 132nd Street in Harlem, Manhattan. Located between Fifth Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, the lot is near the 135th Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains. Joseph Atarien of Atari Realty is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 77-foot-tall development will yield 6,335 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have nine residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 703 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and a shared rooftop deck.
Gerald Caliendo Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
