Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 268 Sullivan Place in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Rogers Avenue and Nostrand Avenue, the lot is two blocks north of the Sterling Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Mendel Greisman of 274 Sullivan Place LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 28,924 square feet, with 25,265 square feet designated for residential space and 3,659 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 37 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 682 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 32-foot-long rear yard, and 12 open parking spaces.
Aharon Machlis of Bild Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in August 2022 for the two-story residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
