Permits have been filed for a three-story residential building at 22-78 Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway, Queens. Located between Gipson Street and McBride Street, the lot is near the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue subway station, serviced by the A train. Oran Revivo under the 2278 Mott Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 9,671 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 12 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 805 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 54-foot-long rear yard and ten open parking spaces.
Gerald Caliendo Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in November 2022 for the residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
