Construction is now topped out at 49 Fisk Street, a new 337-unit rental property in Jersey City. The project team includes developer Halpern Real Estate Ventures, architect of record Minno & Wasko, interior design studio The Meshberg Group, and general contractor JRM Construction Management.
In addition rentals, the six-story building will house around 50,000 square feet of lifestyle and wellness amenity space. This includes a 14,000-square-foot landscaped courtyard, an 18,000-square-foot roof deck, a community garden, co-working spaces, a speakeasy-style bar, a fitness center, communal lounge areas, and on-site parking for more than 140 vehicles.
“We’re thrilled to mark the building’s construction progress, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team who are helping to bring this exciting project to life,” said Joel Halpern, president and managing director of investments for Halpern. “49 Fisk Street will further elevate the residential options available to existing and new residents of Jersey City’s West Side, where significant investment and municipal focus is stimulating the rise of a new destination center.”
In an effort to improve the building’s energy efficiency, the property will feature a waste diversion and energy recovery system, rooftop solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations, and a rainwater collection system or irrigation.
The Corcoran Group will be the exclusive marketing and leasing agent for available units.
