Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 106-38 Waltham Street in Jamaica, Queens. Located between 107th Avenue and Tuskegee Airmen Way, the lot is closest to the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue-JFK Airport subway station, serviced by the E and J trains. Navdeep Singh is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 83-foot-tall development will rise from an 8,120-square-foot footprint and yield 70 affordable housing residences. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 41-foot-long side yard, 15 open parking spaces, and four enclosed parking spaces.
Muzaffar Jamal of Architectural Concept Inc. is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
