The affordable housing lottery has launched for Concern Pitkin, a six-story mixed-use building at 410 Warwick Street in East New York, Brooklyn. Designed by Urban Architectural Initiatives and developed by Concern for the Independent Living, the structure yields 53 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 22 units for residents at 40 to 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $0 to $91,500.
Amenities include pet-friendly policies, an outdoor patio, computer room, shared laundry room, elevator, security guard and cameras, community center, and a gym. Units come with air conditioning, hardwood floors, and name-brand countertops and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 40 percent of the AMI, there are five one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $730 for incomes ranging from $25,029 to $50,840.
At 50 percent of the AMI, there are eight one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $0 for incomes ranging from $0 to $63,550.
At 60 percent of the AMI, there are two studios with a monthly rent of $1,055 for incomes ranging from $36,172 to $67,800; two one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,329 for incomes ranging from $45,566 to $76,260; and five two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,581 for incomes ranging from $54,206 to $91,500.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than November 14, 2023.
