Permits have been filed for an eight-story hotel building at 2249 Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Avenue I and Avenue H, the lot is one block is near the Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College subway station, serviced by the 3 train. Vatsal Rathod of Rathod is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 27,616 square feet designated for commercial space. The building will have 96 hotel rooms, with an average unit scope of 287 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 34-foot-long rear yard, and one commercial loading berth.
Michael Kang Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
