Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 42-24 147th Street in Flushing, Queens. Located between Beech Avenue and Sanford Avenue, the lot is near the Flushing Street subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Wang Lam is listed as the owner behind the applications and also owns the adjacent 42-22 147th Street site.
The proposed 66-foot-tall development will yield 7,027 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 702 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have two cellar levels and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Mei Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed earlier this month. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
