Brooklyn-based real estate developer Two Trees Management Company has announced four major leases for The Refinery at Domino, a 15-story office redevelopment of the landmarked Domino Sugar Factory building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This announcement brings the property’s total leased space to 34,000 square feet.
The new occupants represent a diverse array of industries from marketing to beauty, reflecting the building’s appeal to innovative and creative sectors. Among them are visual commerce startup Eko, hair care enterprise The Beachwaver Co., digital marketplace startup Whop, and venue development firm Skylight.
The Refinery yields 460,000 square feet of office space and completed construction last September. It is the second commercial building at the Domino Sugar Factory site, following the fully leased Ten Grand Street. The building features amenities including a triple-height atrium lobby, a retail fitness club with an indoor pool, and a 27,000-square-foot glass dome penthouse offering panoramic views. The striking stone panel podium for this project is now complete, thanks to PG New York‘s expertise. They have a proven track record of delivering high-quality finishes at Domino Park, having been involved with several building projects there.
“The Refinery is unlike any other office building in New York right now from its unique architecture to its location in the epicenter of Williamsburg,” said Alyssa Zahler, managing director of leasing at Two Trees Management. “The neighborhood has been a hub of creative innovation for the last decade, and we are thrilled to welcome this next wave of creative leaders to The Refinery, where business is enhanced by our vibrant waterfront neighborhood, award-winning Domino Park, and best-in-class amenities from Saga Hospitality, Skylight, and Equinox.”
