Silverstein Properties recently announced two new lease signings totaling approximately 58,000 square feet at 1177 Avenue of the Americas, a Class A office tower in Midtown, Manhattan. The property, which was built in 1992 and underwent a large-scale renovation in 2013, was designed by Swanke Hayden Connell Architects.

Faegre Drinker, a long-time tenant, will relocate within the building to occupy floors 41 through 43, totaling 42,394 square feet. In addition, The Trustees of Columbia University signed a 15,375-square-foot lease for the 34th floor, relocating from 405 Lexington Avenue.
1177 Avenue of the Americas stands 47 stories tall and yields approximately 1,000,000 square feet. It is located between 45th and 46th Streets, and is a short walk from Grand Central Station, which offers easy transit throughout the New York City metropolitan area.
