Permits have been filed to expand a three-story structure into a four-story residential building at 202 Madison Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford and Nostrand Avenues, the lot is closest to the Franklin Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Yosi Rozenberg of Storo Construction Management is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 7,973 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 797 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 36-foot-long rear yard.
Gerald Caliendo Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a vertical and horizontal expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
