A&E Real Estate has acquired Rivers Bend, a 21-story rental apartment building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The company purchased the 179-unit property at 501 East 87th Street from Soloviev Group for $116.5 million, equating to approximately $547,000 per unit.
Built in 1963, the 202,000-square-foot building offers a range of amenities, including a parking garage, a rooftop terrace with a glass-enclosed swimming pool, a fitness center, and a 24-hour attended lobby. Apartments feature wood-burning fireplaces, with select units offering balconies and private terraces.
Transit nearby 501 East 87th Street includes subway stations served by the 4, 5, 6, and Q trains.
