Construction has topped out on 14 White Street, a seven-story residential building in Manhattan’s Tribeca East Historic District. Designed by KURV Architecture, the 30,000-square-foot structure will yield ten condominium units and 3,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and cellar level. Homes will range from 1,200-square-foot two-bedrooms to four-bedroom layouts spanning 4,000 square feet. The property is bound by White Street to the south and Sixth Avenue to the east.
KURV Architecture DPC was brought on board to take the project over as Architect of Record. KURV redrew and re-coordinated the entire building in BIM while it was under construction, allowing DXA’s original conceptual design for the exterior to be re-inspired to the reality of the physical site conditions and executed with precise detail. KURV coordinated closely with NAVA throughout the construction of the project to ensure that NAVA’s vision was to be coordinated and executed as faithfully as possible to NAVA’s original design intent.
The entire superstructure was built since our last update in March 2024, when foundation work was still progressing below grade. Scaffolding and blue netting currently cover the entire building, which has been framed out and enclosed with waterproofing and insulation boards in preparation for the final façade. Crews are now beginning to install the windows on the lower levels, and façade work could potentially follow closely behind.
The renderings, although outdated, depict 14 White Street with a design that presents a contemporary take on the neighborhood’s cast iron aesthetics. The façade is composed of floor-to-ceiling glass and angular bronze-hued paneling with columns of varying widths. The ground floor will feature a contrasting gray finish, and a shallow bulkhead is visible above the roofline.
The façade panels are shown etched with a pattern of diamonds, giving the exterior a distinctive texture.
The building is expected to house two units per level on floors two through five, followed by full-floor units on the sixth and seventh stories. One of the upper condominium units will be a penthouse with private outdoor space, and the property will also feature a communal roof terrace.
The development is designed with sustainability in mind and incorporates ultra-efficient passive building standards.
A revised completion date for 14 White Street has yet to be announced.

And the soho-tribeca phamacy building just to the north was sold recently to developers
That’s the corner where the MTA should be securing an easement for a future tie-in to a west side subway line – even if such a thing is a half-century away.
That’s called planning, and the MTA is bad at it.

KURV Architecture DPC is Architect of Record.
It’s easy to design something, but to actually work out all of the details on a very difficult triangular lot is very impressive. Kudos to KURV Architecture for making this happen & having the foresight to use BIM. Very impressive indeed!
