New permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 995 President Street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Franklin Avenue and Classon Avenue, the interior lot is two blocks south of the Franklin Avenue–Medgar Evers College subway station, served by the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. Moses Rabinowitz of Residents Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 87-foot-tall development will yield 18,824 square feet, with 17,484 square feet designated for residential space and 1,340 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 28 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 624 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 47-foot-long rear yard

Leandro Nil Dickson Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
