Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 721 St. Ouen Street in Wakefield, The Bronx. Located between White Plains Road and Barnes Avenue, the lot is near the Wakefield–241st Street subway station, served by the 2 train. Ascher Berkowitz of Big Dream Developers LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 10,265 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 14 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 733 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 29-foot-long rear yard, and seven open parking spaces.
Timothy Rote of Trend New York Architecture D.P.C. is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for the 2.5-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
