Crain’s Business reports the 16-story commercial building spanning 123-141 West 57th Street, in Midtown — home to the 197-room Salisbury Hotel and Calvary Baptist Church — could potentially be the location of Extell Development’s next ultra-luxury residential tower. The property could be valued at more than $100 million, and if Extell does indeed acquire and demolish the existing building, 325,000 square feet of air rights are available as-of-right (including the properties Extell has already assembled adjoining the site).
