The Benson’s Limestone Façade Nears Pinnacle at 1045 Madison Avenue in Carnegie Hill, Manhattan

Exterior work is shaping up on The Benson, an 18-story condominium building at 1045 Madison Avenue in the Carnegie Hill section of the Upper East Side. Designed by Peter Pennoyer and developed by The Naftali Group, the 210-foot-tall structure will yield 16 residential units spread across 59,032 square feet, for an average of 3,700 square feet apiece, as well as 3,993 square feet of ground-floor retail. There will be three penthouses, and the majority of the homes will be full-floor layouts. The property is located between East 79th and East 80th Streets, a short walk from Central Park.

Façade Work Begins on 200 East 83rd Street’s Rising Superstructure on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is rising on 200 East 83rd Street, a 449-foot-tall residential tower from Robert A.M. Stern on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Developed by Naftali Group and Rockefeller Group, the 243,128-square-foot development reinforced concrete structure will rise to a height of 35 stories and house 86 units spread over 205,877 square feet, for an average of 2,393 square feet apiece. SLCE Architects is the architect of record for the project, which is located at the corner of Third Avenue and East 83rd Street.

Permits Filed for Two-Tower Development at 484 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed for two mixed-use towers along Brooklyn’s Williamsburg waterfront at 484 Kent Avenue, addressed as 480 and 490 Kent Avenue. Located between South 10th Street and Division Street, the lot is steps from the South Williamsburg stop on the East River Ferry. The Marcy Avenue subway station is a 13-minute walk east of the property, serviced by the J, M, and Z trains. Naftali Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The first rendering has been revealed of 200 East 83rd Street, a 449-foot-tall residential tower from Robert A.M. Stern on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Located at the intersection of East 86th Street and Madison Avenue, the corner lot is two blocks west of the 86th Street subway station, serviced by the 4, 5, and 6 trains. Located between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue, the corner lot is also known as 1469 3rd Avenue. The 86th Street subway station is three blocks north, serviced by the N and Q trains.
