Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 64-10 Wetherole Street in Rego Park, Queens. Located between 63rd Drive and 64th Road, the through lot is a short walk to the 63rd Drive-Rego Park Station subway station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. Tahoe Development under the 64-08-64-10 Wetherole Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
After a decade of new towers sprouting along the North Williamsburg waterfront, new residential construction in the area has begun to slow down over the past year, as the neighborhood just doesn’t have many development sites left. However, one builder managed to snag a lot at 106 North 3rd Street, between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street.
Nearly a decade in the making, a Williamsburg residential project is finally nearing the finish line. The 51-unit, seven-story development at 150 North 12th Street has topped out, as seen in photos sent to us by our friend Tectonic.
One of the last few handsome, early 20th century factories on Williamsburg’s Northside will become luxury rentals. Greenpoint-based developer Eser Realty plans to convert the four-story brick building at 28-46 Roebling Street to 58 apartments, adding a fifth floor in the process, and now YIMBY has a rendering for the project, which is about to begin construction.
