Permits have been filed for a ten-story medical facility at 133-20 41st Road in Flushing, Queens. The site is three blocks away from the Main Street Subway Station, end of the line for 7 trains in Queens. Great Stone NY is behind the applications.
In August of 2015, YIMBY reported on new building applications for 35-08 146th Street, in Murray Hill, Queens. In January of 2016, we revealed the first renderings for the 15-story project. Today, we have an updated look at the design, which has seen substantial revisions since the initial images were released.
The nine-story project at 42-50 27th Street is well on its way to joining Court Square’s impressive roster of new residential properties, which are transforming Long Island City beyond recognition. At the moment, the concrete frame is complete, metal stud framing is installed along the lot walls, and scaffolds wrap the structure in preparation for exterior work. Ampiera Group is developing the 32-unit project, and My Architect PC is designing it.
The eight-story residential building at 42-83 Hunter Street, located in the interior of Long Island City’s Court Square district, has risen above the ground level. The steel structure has been assembled for the first of the building’s eventual eight levels. The Lions Group NYC is developing the 15,948-square-foot, 15-unit project, designed by Jon Yung’s My Architect PC. Lions Group II, LLC is listed as the general contractor. The glass façade of the slender mid-rise would open upon a pocket park, which allows for sweeping vistas of the Long Island City skyline and Midtown Manhattan beyond.
Chris Xu’s Century Construction and Development Group is slowly transforming Queens with huge mixed-use projects. Last month he filed plans for a 79-story skyscraper next to One Court Square in Long Island City. Now, YIMBY has renderings for his ambitious 14-story tower at 134-03 35th Avenue in Flushing.
