Renderings Reveal Euclid Glenmore Apartments at 437 Euclid Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn

New renderings from Urban Architectural Initiatives are the first to reveal Euclid Glenmore Apartments, an eight-story affordable housing property at 437 Euclid Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Designed by The Lantern Organization and Mega Contracting Group, which closed on $11.5 million in construction financing to complete the project, the building will comprise 135 units. A total of 81 units will be reserved for formerly homeless families, and the remainder for households at or below 60 percent area median income (AMI).

Developers and city officials recently celebrated the completion of 50 Penn, a 218-unit affordable housing property at 50 Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Developed by Pennrose with design by Dattner Architects, the building’s residential collection includes include 56 studios, 96 one-bedroom, 48 two-bedroom, and 18 three-bedroom apartments.

Developers Close on $105M Loan to Complete 2840 Atlantic Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn

The Moinian Group and Bushburg have successfully closed on a $105 million construction loan to complete 2840 Atlantic Avenue, a rising property in East New York, Brooklyn that will include residential and affordable housing units, community space, lower-level retail, and 109 parking spaces.

City Officials Join Project Partners to Celebrate 234 New Affordable Homes at Linden Terrace in East New York, Brooklyn

Developers and New York City officials recently joined to celebrate the first phase of completion at Linden Terrace, a 548-unit affordable housing complex in East New York, Brooklyn. Located at 2858 Linden Boulevard, the building comprises 234 affordable homes. The teams also celebrated the commencement of construction for the second and third buildings, which will eventually comprise 159 and 155 additional affordable apartments.

A consortium of private developers recently closed on a $600 million loan to complete renovations and infrastructure upgrades across a 1,673-unit NYCHA public housing portfolio. Boulevard Together Developer LLC, a joint venture with The Hudson Companies, Property Resources Corporation, and Duvernay + Brooks, is undertaking the refurbishment of a total of 29 buildings in East New York.

Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building that will hold a charter school as well as commercial and community facility space at 556 New Lots Avenue in East New York‘s New Lots neighborhood. Located at the intersection of Van Siclen Avenue and New Lots Avenue, the corner lot is two blocks from the Van Siclen Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains. Soly Bawabeh of Bermuda Realty is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The Fountains Affordable Housing Complex Completes Construction in East New York, Brooklyn

Construction is now complete on The Fountains, a six-building affordable housing complex in East New York, Brooklyn. Developed by Long Island-based Arker Companies, which purchased the site for $10 million following a competitive request for proposal process facilitated by the Empire State Development Corporation, the development yields 1,163 affordable homes, commercial space, and a new public plaza.
