Monogram Completes Construction at 135 East 47th Street in Midtown East, Manhattan

Construction has wrapped up on Monogram New York, a 35-story residential skyscraper at 135 East 47th Street in Midtown East. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Navigation Capital Group, the 500-foot-tall structure will yield 191 condominium units in studio to four-bedroom penthouse layouts, as well as 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The property was formerly addressed as 131-141 East 47th Street and is located between Lexington and Third Avenues.

ODA’s 126 East 57th Street Nears Topping Out in Midtown East, Manhattan

Construction is close to topping out at 126 East 57th Street, a 28-story residential tower rising on Billionaires’ Row in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by MRR Development under the MRR 1326 LLC, the 346-foot-tall structure will yield 147 condominium units with an average scope of 1,156 square feet, as well as 5,000 square feet of lower-level retail space. ODA is also serving as the interior designer and Plaza Builds is the general contractor for the ground-up property, which is located at the corner of East 56th Street and Lexington Avenue, and includes a narrow panhandle extension to East 57th Street.

144,312-Square-Foot Lease Renewal Signed At 51 West 52nd Street In Midtown East, Manhattan

International law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has renewed its lease at 51W52, also known as Black Rock, a 900,000-square-foot, 38-story building located at 51 West 52nd Street in Midtown, Manhattan. The firm will continue to occupy 144,312 square feet on floors 17 and 20 through 24 for the next 15 years. The building, originally designed by architect Eero Saarinen as the headquarters of CBS, recently underwent a $128 million renovation led by the building’s owner, HGI.
