Topping-out this past April, Studio Gang‘s Solar Carve Tower along Chelsea’s High Line is now nearing full completion as its dazzling glass facade rises above Tenth Avenue, between West 13th and 14th Streets. Located at 40 Tenth Avenue, and sitting to the immediate north of the Standard Hotel, the 10-story building will be entirely encased in glass, and constructed with reinforced concrete. The Jeanne Gang-designed structure will span 139,000 square feet in all, and is being co-developed by Aurora Capital and William Gottlieb Real Estate.

The site is two blocks away from the 207th Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train, and four blocks from the 207th Street subway station, end of the line for the A trains. Hello Living’s 1580 Nostrand Avenue has resumed construction following a scaled-down redesign of the residential development. Located in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, the structure would have been one of South Brooklyn’s tallest towers at 23-stories.
The groundbreaking ceremony has officially taken place for the construction of the Edenwald YMCA in The Bronx. The NYC Planning Commission approved construction for the building this May. Located at 1250 East 229th Street, the site is five blocks away from the Baychester Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is the developer.
