Last week, Rockefeller Center celebrated the opening of Skylift at Top of The Rock, a new open-air attraction at 30 Rockefeller Center in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed in collaboration between architect Richard J. Construction is wrapping up on Domino Square, a 33,000-square-foot public waterfront plaza and event space at 320 Kent Avenue within the 11-acre redevelopment of the historic Domino Sugar factory site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Field Operations in collaboration with Studio Cadena and developed by Two Trees, the 1-acre park is located between The Refinery mixed-use office building to the north, the One Domino Square residential complex to the south, Kent Avenue to the east, and River Street, Domino Park, and the East River to the west.

New Renderings Revealed for RAMSA’s 255 East 77th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

A teaser video has been released with new renderings of 255 East 77th Street, a rising 36-story residential skyscraper in the Lenox Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects with Hill West Architects as the architect of record and developed by Naftali Group, the 500-foot-tall structure will span 170,481 square feet and yield 62 condominium units, as well as 3,861 square feet of retail space, two cellar levels, and 33 enclosed parking spaces. The property is alternately addressed as 1481 Second Avenue and located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 77th Street.

New renderings have been revealed for Related Companies and Wynn Resorts’ $12 billion mixed-use gaming complex proposal for the second phase of Hudson Yards. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the complex would consist of multiple skyscrapers housing 1,500 apartments, 2 million square feet of office space, a public grade school, a 5.6-acre park called Hudson Green designed by Hollander Design and Sasaki, and a daycare center. The new batch of towers would rise directly west of the first phase of Hudson Yards over the 13-acre Western Rail Yards bound by West 33rd Street to the north, West 30th Street to the south, Eleventh Avenue to the east, and West Street to the west.

520 Fifth Avenue Approaches Final Set of Floors in Midtown, Manhattan 

Construction is closing in on the final floors of 520 Fifth Avenue, an 88-story mixed-use supertall skyscraper in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by Rabina, the 1,002-foot-tall structure will span 380,000 square feet and yield 100 condominium units, a residents-only amenity floor on level 88, boutique office floors on the lower levels, a private members-only club called Moss, retail space, and four cellar levels. The project is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and West 43rd Street, one block north of Bryant Park.
