Daniel Rad of Radson Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Five blocks east of the Flushing Avenue subway station, serviced by the M and J trains. Juan Ramos of Southside United HDFC is listed as the owner behind the applications. The community organization offers resources in the Williamsburg neighborhood including affordable housing, tenant organization, community outreach, a senior residential center, and a local food pantry. They previously filed permits in 2017 for affordable senior housing at the same site.
New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and the Department of Social Services has officially selected development partners to transform the historic Greenpoint Hospital site into an affordable housing block. In total, the Greenpoint Hospital campus measures 3.4 acres with a total of eight, mostly vacant structures.

The site is four blocks away from the Whitlock Avenue subway station, serviced by 6 trains, and six blocks from Simpson Street subway station, serviced by 2 and 5 trains. The latter station providing close access to retail and commercial amenities. New Destiny Housing will be responsible for the development. Their firm specializes with building housing for vulnerable homeless populations in the city.
Another new addition to Morrisania, in The Bronx, is just months away from completion, at Melrose Commons North Site C, also known as Elton Crossing.
