Eight-Building Rockaway Village Complex Completes Construction in Far Rockaway, Queens

Construction is complete on Rockaway Village, an eight-building mixed-use complex in Far Rockaway, Queens. Designed by Marvel and developed by Phipps, the project was constructed in five phases and yields a total of 1,700 affordable homes along with 125,000 square feet of commercial and community facility space. The masterplan also features a supermarket, pharmacy, coffee shop, and more than 550 parking spaces, all connected by landscaped public plazas. The development is bounded by Nameoke Avenue to the north, Mott Avenue to the south, Central Avenue to the east, and Redfern Avenue to the west.

Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 64 Meserole Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Lorimer Street and Leonard Street, the lot is near the Broadway subway station, served by the G train and the Lorimer Street station, served by the J and M trains. Moshe Schwimmer of Meserole Lorimer Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Rendering Reveals Nine-Building Residential Development in East Flatbush, Brooklyn

Bawabeh Holdings has filed a rezoning application for a nine-building, 1.2-million-square-foot residential complex on the border of East Flatbush and Brownsville, Brooklyn. Designed by IMC Architecture and developed under the Midyan Gate Realty No. 2 LLC, the conjoined structures would stand 14 to 15 stories and yield 972 rental apartments, or 108 units per building, with an average scope of 950 square feet. The project would also include 136,112 square feet of retail space, 103,472 square feet of community facility space, and a 114-vehicle parking garage. The property is bounded by East 98th street to the northeast, Winthrop Street to the northwest, Kings Highway to the east, and Rockaway Place to the west.
