Excavation work continues at 432 Park Avenue, and has proceeded well beyond the plot along 56th Street. The area where the former townhouses stood is now a large pit, in the process of becoming even more gaping. Obviously this is to be expected, as such a tall building requires a sturdy foundation, but the work continues at a fast pace. No completion date re: excavation has been announced, however it would seem that the initial work should be done by the beginning of summer.
