It appears the entire facade for The New School’s new building at 65 Fifth Avenue is now complete. It actually looks markedly different from the last update now that the entire facade has been completed, and that’s a good thing because the overall result is stunning!
The textured facade and the ‘transparent’ stairwells add strongly to the building’s presence, and even in the overcast & dreadful rainy weather this past week the building looks exceptional. The New School’s new building is just the beginning of New York’s education boom; Fordham, Columbia, and NYU are all planning or now actually constructing their major expansions as well.
