Glass is still rising on 1715 Broadway, and it’s looking better and better. The city’s tallest all-hotel building stands just over 750 feet tall. The facade has reached the 600 foot mark, already surpassing the neighboring and also nearly completed 250 West 55th Street.
In other news, 237 West 54th Street is still naked. The second photo is taken from one block to the south of the building, on 53rd and Broadway. It proves just how invisible this tower will be–you can barely see the construction netting sticking up between 1715 Broadway and 250 West 55th. That will probably be a good thing. The nature of Kaufman’s cheap work means that most, but not allof his projects are small enough to be lost in the skyscraper forests of Manhattan.
