Exterior work on Beacon Capital’s 330 Hudson Street is just about finished, and the result does not disappoint; the vertical addition, though nothing like original renderings, seamlessly integrates the old and new. The result is a 16-story building with 466,000 square feet of office space – a stark contrast to what was originally supposed to be a hotel, but a welcome addition nonetheless. Given 330 Hudson’s far West Village location, the development is a great example of how historic architecture and new construction can be compatible.
330 Hudson Street’s website has the full rundown on specifications, and opening is anticipated for September – CBRE has leasing details on their website, with floors starting at just over 17,000 square feet. The project’s architect is BBG-BBGM, and their most prominent New York-area building is the 42-story 101 Hudson Street, which is actually in Jersey City.
