The New York Times recently noticed that the first phase of Ironstate’s URL Staten Island development in Stapleton has made significant construction progress. It will bring 571 residential units and 35,000 square feet of retail space to Stapleton’s waterfront. Revealed by YIMBY in 2014, multiple buildings have topped-out at five stories, and roughly half of the retail space is already leased. Completion of the first phase is expected later this year.
