Excavation is imminent at 816 Washington Avenue, in Prospect Heights, where ELH Management is planning a five-story, eight-unit mixed-use building, according to Brownstoner. Located two blocks north of the Brooklyn Museum stop on the 2/3 trains, the eight apartments will be rented at below-market rates, and 3,135 square feet of retail space will span the ground floor. Dattner is designing, and the site’s former rent-regulated building burnt down in 2010.
