Calvin Danzig, going business as a Long Island-based company, has filed applications for a six-story, 10-unit residential building at 23-60 31st Avenue, in the heart of Astoria, located four blocks from the Broadway stop on the N/Q trains. The structure will encompass 10,771 square feet, and its residential units should average 922 square feet apiece. That means the apartments could either be luxury rentals or condominiums. Chang Hwa Tan’s Flushing-based Tan Architect is the architect of record. The 28-foot-wide lot is currently occupied by two-story apartment townhouse. Demolition permits were filed in April.
