Brooklyn-based Soft Stone Development has filed applications for a three-story, two-family residential building at 1441 58th Street, in the heart of Borough Park, located four blocks from the 62nd Street stop on the D train. The project will encompass 7,212 square feet, and its residential units should average a very spacious 3,574 square feet apiece, which means condominiums are surely in the works. The ground and cellar levels will contain one apartment, while the second and third floors will host the other unit. Genaro Urueta’s Maspeth-based Studio Gallos is the architect of record. The 40-foot-wide lot is currently occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits were filed back in December.

  1. Reflect my opinion to development, so good without an immortal.
