Brooklyn-based congregation Heichal Hatfillah has filed applications for a new three-story, 93,725-square-foot synagogue at 1770 52nd Street, located at the corner of 18th Avenue in southern Borough Park. The 60-foot-tall structure will feature two lecture halls, a banquet hall, and various spaces for rituals on two below-grade levels. The ground through third levels will contain the main sanctuary, offices, and a 12,224-square-foot living quarters. Karl Fischer’s SoHo-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 26,077-square-foot site is currently vacant. The Avenue I stop on the F train is located five blocks away.

Amazing that they will allow this without a parking requirement. Will just clog the neighborhood with traffic from another unwanted “wedding hall”.
Aren’t there enough Synagogues in the neighborhood already?
