The last time we reported on 190 South 1st Street, YIMBY had the opportunity to go on a tour of the construction site. Now, we have images of the nearly-completed 13-story building, and the final look is strikingly close to what’s depicted in the renderings. The brutalist concrete facade is well balanced from the tower portion, all the way down to the community facility space along Driggs Avenue.
The main entrance is not finished yet. Renderings show a tree-studded sidewalk. The noticeably missing green space emphasizes how the project isn’t fully complete just yet.
According to the building’s website, 18 units are in contract, with 11 available for purchase. The condos vary in size, having listed seven studio units, eleven one-bedrooms, six two-bedrooms, and four three-bedrooms. The penthouse spans 2,744 square feet and is currently available for $4,445,000.The cheapest unit, a studio on the first floor, has an asking price of $575,000.
ODA New York is responsible for the design, and the condominium building comes from developers Adam America Real Estate and the Naveh Shuster Group.
