Permits have been filed for a new 20-story hotel in Murray Hill, Manhattan. The site, at 347 Lexington Avenue on the corner of East 40th Street, is just a few blocks away from Grand Central Terminal, serviced by the 4, 5, 6, 7, shuttle to Times Square, and the Metro-North railroad trains.

The 200-foot tall structure will yield 24,850 square feet of commercial square footage. The whole project will bring 65 rooms, without much space dedicated to amenities. There will be a lounge and multipurpose room on the first floor.

Epos Development is developing the project, and Tan Architect P.C. will be responsible for the design.

Two small buildings currently occupy the site. Demolition permits have not been filed, and a completion date has not been announced.

Update: The Hotel will have 65 rooms instead of 45, and the developer has been revealed as Epos Development.
