An anonymous LLC has filed permits for a three-story house in Jamaica Estates, Queens. The lot is a mile and a half away from the Hollis train station, serviced by the Long Island Railroad’s Hempstead and Oyster Bay lines. Jamaica Estates is an upper-middle-class neighborhood known for having expensive detached single-family homes with unique architectural styles, surrounded by trees.
The 35-foot tall structure will yield 7,250 square feet. Demolition permits were filed in July, and an estimated completion date has not been announced. Prainito Design Group will be responsible for the design.
