Permits have been filed for a six-story commercial building at 1333 Broadway in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The site is a block and a half away from the Gates Avenue subway station, serviced by the J, M and Z trains. Jeremey Markowitz is listed as responsible for the development.

The 93-foot tall structure will yield 58,480 square feet, with 39,320 square feet dedicated to commercial use. Offices will occupy floors three and above, with the rest dedicated to vehicle parking. 103 parking spaces will be created on-site.

Hill & West is the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

  2. Stop ruining our neighborhood with these tall building leave well enough alone. U ain’t doing nothing for the low income people that live in the neighborhood. I wish you would stop making these buildings.

  3. The stretch of Broadway between Myrtle and Gates has seen a lot of activity the last couple years. A lot of the architecture, especially around Greene, is very beautiful, but a lot of the new development seems rather slapdash. I’m very excited that a real office building by a real architect is coming to the neighborhood. Broadway is the perfect street for higher density, and ought to have taller buildings to take advantage of the subway and concentrate demand for local businesses.

  4. I really hope development along Broadway line improves our post office. Our postoffice is a dump that could use a lot of work.
