Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 223 Howard Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The site is four blocks away from the Ralph Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Ten blocks away is the Halsey Street station, serviced by the J, M, and Z trains. Yaniv Nasimi is listed as behind the applications.
The 40-foot tall structure will yield 7,450 square feet within, with 4,800 square feet dedicated to residential use. Seven apartments will be created, averaging 686 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Tenants will have a laundry room and accessory storage.
L & C Associates will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits for the existing structure have been filed. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
