Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 67-01 Roosevelt Avenue, in Woodside, Queens. The lot is right near a commercial strip, which benefits from surrounding transit. Five blocks to the north is the 65th Street subway station, serviced by the R trains. Five blocks west is the Woodside train station, serviced by all twelve LIRR lines. United Realty is listed as responsible for the development.
The 60-foot tall structure will yield 12,250 square feet, with 7,020 square feet dedicated to residential use, 1,460 square feet for ground floor retail, and 960 square feet dedicated to a medical office on the second floor. Ten apartments will be created, averaging 702 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. A recreational area will be available on the rooftop for residents.
INM Architects will be responsible for the design.
The lot is currently vacant, meaning construction can start as soon as permits are approved. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
