Permits have been filed for an eight-story building at 11-35 31st Drive in Astoria, Queens. Located between Vernon Boulevard and 12th Street, the lot is ten blocks west of the 30th Avenue subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Li Qing of Blue Mountain Capital, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 77-foot tall project will yield 53,521 square feet, with 33,239 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 40 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 830 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and 20 enclosed parking spaces.
Angelo Ng of Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architect is handling the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
