Permits have been filed for a 17-story tower at 3-50 St. Nicholas Avenue, in Ridgewood, Queens. Located between Palmetto Street and Woodbine Street, the corner lot is one block away from the Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues subway station, serviced by the M and L trains. Meir Babaev of AB Capstone is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 208-foot tall project will yield 248,332 square feet, with 96,702 square feet of commercial space, 93,481 square feet designated for residential space and 942 square feet for community facilities. It will have 138 apartments, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 677 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and 341 on-site parking spaces.

Navid Maqami of S9 Architecture & Engineering is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Meditate on the structure, meditate on design with the tower, meditate on its colors, and meditate on me. (Thank you)

  2. How many of those units will be affordable/subsidized housing???

  3. Where are those people going to park? And dont tell me they will all be commuters. Parking over there is horrible as it is.

  4. How can I apply for an apartment unit? How many of those units will be affordable or subsidized housing?
