Permits have been filed for a six-story apartment building at 256 North 9th Street, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Roebling Street and Havemeyer Street, the interior lot is four blocks north of the Metropolitan Avenue – Lorimer Street subway station, serviced by the G and L trains. Idan Shitrit under the 256 North 9th Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot tall development will yield 13,500 square feet of residential space. It will have ten residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,350 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 38-foot long rear yard.
Murat Mutlu Architect is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
