Permits have been filed for an eight-story, mixed-use building at 624 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Lorimer Street and Leonard Street, the interior lot is close to the Metropolitan Avenue-Lorimer Street subway station, serviced by the G and L trains. Christian Pompa of Caro Enterprises is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 14,177 square feet, with 11,110 square feet designated for residential space and 373 square feet for commercial space. The building will have eight residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,388 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, rooftop, and a 35-foot-long rear yard.
Nathan Rich of Peterson Rich Office is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
