Permits have been filed for a four-story apartment building at 1379 Bergen Street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Albany Avenue and Troy Avenue, the corner lot is five city blocks south of the Kingston-Throop Avenues subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Joel Spitzer, under the SUW 5 LLC, is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 48-foot-tall development will yield 6,647 square feet, with 5,318 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 664 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and rooftop.
Oleg Ruditser of Engineering Professional SVCS is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
